The Diploma of Fitness is a competency based qualification that is structured to produce a highly competent
and qualified Fitness Specialist or Fitness Therapist. This qualification is part of the National Training Package
and is recognised throughout Australia. It is composed of core, stream and elective units of competency, that
have been packaged into five modules;
Prospective students include Secondary school leavers (Yr.12), current Gym instructors, Personal Trainers
(persons having completed Certificate III and/or IV Fitness), or people with a high level of interest in Fitness.
Where required, Certificate III in Fitness and Certificate IV in Fitness will be embedded into the training
program to allow the person to participate in the Diploma Program.
The course is delivered via the following study modes:
For those students who need to complete the pre-requisite units from Certificate III in Fitness,
Certificate IV in Fitness or wish to hold all three qualifications upon completion;

Start at any time, this course is self paced meaning you can complete it in your own environment, and in your own time.
We allow a maximum of 12 months to complete the course (24 months if completing certificate 3 and 4 fitness also).
Please note that where a course has scheduled practical requirements, there is a 100% attendance requirement for ALL students.
Course length may also be considerably shortened by successful application for Recognition of Prior Leaning (RPL), for those who have completed prior studies in related fields and/or have relevant industry experience.
Fees include all notebooks & assessment tasks in electronic copy (by CD or email), access to online assessment and
learning materials (toolbox for cert III/IV Fitness), and email support. Each module lists required and recommended
reading resources, textbooks and websites. These are to purchased/hired by the student additionally.
